About ‘Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp’

Every child belongs, says ‘Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp’. For 1 out of 8 children in The Netherlands, this doesn’t go without saying. They are being raised in poverty and feel left out. The Dutch National Fund for Helping Children ‘Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp’ helps them in the best way possible, by arranging contribution for sports clubs, education, a day of fun and swimming lessons. ‘Kinderhulp’ is here for them, even when they got nowhere else to go.

Why ‘Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp’?

Except from the fact that VOS values professionality, we also commit to social awareness inside and outside our organization.

Behalve dat professionaliteit bij Vos Expeditie B.V. hoog in het vaandel staat, speelt ook maatschappelijke betrokkenheid een belangrijke rol binnen de organisatie. With the thought of wanting to make an active and positive contribution to children who grow up in poverty in the Netherlands, ‘Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp’ was chosen quite quickly.

What does ‘Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp’ do?

‘Kinderhulp’ offers financial back-up to children and young adults in poverty from 0 to 21 years of age, in the following areas:

  • Development (education, trainings, sports, swimming lessons, simple laptops or other school materials, music, items for play and fun)
  • Relaxation (day out, Sinterklaas, camping week, brother(s)-sister(s) or “Brusjesdagen”, foster family days)
  • Basic matters (bicycle, room furnishings, clothing)
