VOS Transport Group: Family Business at Heart

For 75 years, VOS Transport Group has grown into the largest family-owned transport company in the Netherlands, specializing in transport to Northern and Western Europe. Now, as part of the DreamH2aul project, we present to you the first hydrogen-powered, emission-free tractor units with sleeper cab which is unique in Europe.  These trucks feature a high-density hydrogen fuel cell system, allowing them to carry enough hydrogen for a range of at least 700 km. They will refuel with green hydrogen at a public station along the important North Sea-Baltic TEN-T Corridor.

The introduction of these trucks marks a significant step forward in promoting green hydrogen as a fuel for heavy goods transport, helping to reduce CO2, NOx, particulate matter, and noise emissions. Additionally, an economic feasibility study comparing hydrogen trucks with diesel and battery-electric options will be made publicly available, further encouraging the transport sector to adopt this sustainable solution.
