Vos Transport Group expands its electric fleet with eight Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 trucks

At Vos Transport Group, we are taking another significant step towards making our fleet more sustainable. We have put eight fully electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 trucks into service, comprising two rigid lorries and six tractor units. The vehicles were recently ceremoniously handed over to us by Wensink Trucks.

 

 

We are deploying the two box lorries for distribution within zero-emission zones in city centres. Thanks to their fully electric drivetrain, these lorries are ideal for quiet and emission-free urban logistics and align seamlessly with the increasingly stringent environmental requirements in urban areas.

We use the six tractor units for international transport, with Germany as our main operating area. We are also looking ahead: depending on the development of the charging infrastructure, we are exploring the possibilities for transport to Scandinavia.

By choosing the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600, we are making a conscious investment in future-proof logistics. The combination of a long range, high safety standards and optimum driver comfort makes these trucks highly versatile – from urban distribution to international transport.

In addition to deploying electric trucks, we are making extensive use of HVO fuel and investing in the development of hydrogen solutions. With this combination of technologies, we are capitalising on the opportunities of today and tomorrow. In this way, we are working purposefully towards our ambition to operate in a fully CO₂-neutral manner by 2040.
