At VOS, we meet all requirements in the areas of food safety, hygiene, security and safety through various certifications.

BRC

The BRC certificate demonstrates that VOS meets the food safety requirements set by the British Retail Consortium (BRC). This certification provides assurance about the control of the production process of food products and additional products and services such as packaging and transport. BRC certification guarantees a clear analysis of risks, their control and the continuous improvement of food safety.

AEO

With the AEO certificate from customs, VOS Transport has the status of Authorised Economic Operator. This offers you many advantages in international trade. For example, we need to undergo fewer physical and document checks and we are given priority if we are selected for checks. This says something about the quality and safety that we observe. That saves time, worry and money.

SKAL

Every company that wants to produce, process, pack, import, trade, export or store organic products has to be certified by Skal. This is a European quality mark that sets high requirements on, among other things, traceability, (separate) storage, safety and transport of organic products by means of control protocols and risk analyses that we, as a company, comply with.

ISO 9001

Taking responsibility with regard to society, people and flora and fauna is very important to our organization. Both as a company and personally we want to raise the concern for quality, health, safety and the environment to a higher level.

This is not only standards and values that we do not only include standards and values in our policy statement, but that we want this to be practical. That is why we chose years ago to be certified in accordance with ISO 9001.

We can almost say that we are also ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 certified and this is an international standard for food safety. The standard is aimed at organizations in the supply chain with a role in producing, processing, packaging, trading, processing, storing and transporting food.

ISO 22000 helps us to manage the food safety risks and to comply with the HACCP criteria in the food safety legislation. Certification to ISO 22000 provides insight into the reliability of the supply chain.

FSSC 22000 consists of ISO 22000 supplemented with the basic requirements program ISO/TS 22002-1.

This standard meets the requirements of GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative).
Vos Transport is ISO 9001-2008 certified, valid until August 23, 2021.

SQAS certified

In addition to caring about quality, we believe that our social responsibility, caring about safety, health and the environment, must not fall short. For this reason, we have also undergone an SQAS (Safety & Quality Assessment for Sustainability) assessment.

SQAS is an assessment system developed by the chemical industry in which an external assessor examines and records how a company deals with its social responsibilities, the environment, the safety and health of employees and the surroundings. As an organisation we have chosen to apply these norms and values, in addition to all current legislation and regulations, and to promote and continuously improve them.
